At Vivad, we are continually reviewing ways to reduce waste, minimise landfill and improve the sustainability of our operations.
Printed textiles are widely used throughout the signage, events, display industries and retail chains. However, once a campaign, event or promotion has ended, many of these materials have traditionally been sent to landfill.
Our fabric recycling program provides an alternative.
By recycling approved polyester-based fabrics, we can help divert textile waste from landfill and support a more circular approach to signage production. Eligible materials are collected and processed through specialised recycling streams, where they are broken down and transformed into new raw materials that can be used in future products.

Working with BlockTexx®
To support this initiative, Vivad has partnered with BlockTexx®, an Australian clean technology company specialising in textile recovery. BlockTexx® recovers valuable polyester and cellulose from textiles, helping divert materials from landfill and creating opportunities for those resources to be reused in new applications.
This partnership enables Vivad to offer customers a practical end-of-life solution for selected fabric graphics while supporting the ongoing development of textile recycling within Australia. Eligible polyester-based fabrics can be diverted from landfill and processed through BlockTexx's textile recovery technology, helping recover valuable resources and supporting a more circular approach to the signage and display industry.
As recycling technologies continue to evolve, we look forward to working with BlockTexx to test additional fabric types and expand the range of materials that can be recovered through the program.

Return-to-Recycle Program
Many printed fabric products eventually reach the end of their useful life. Whether it's a media wall graphic, silicone edge graphic (SEG), fabric lightbox graphic or street flag, projects are often refreshed, rebranded or no longer required. Rather than sending eligible graphics directly to landfill, they can be returned to Vivad through our Return to Recycle program for responsible recycling.
To make the process even easier, we also offer an optional decommissioning service to remove silicone edging and other hardware where required, preparing graphics for recycling. Speak with the Vivad Sales Team to learn more about incorporating our Return to Recycle service into your next order.
Our goal is to continue expanding the program and increasing the range of recyclable materials available to customers as recycling capabilities develop.
