Longevity
Flags will fatigue and fade over time even with ordinary use.
The life expectancy is nominally 3 months but will vary depending on their exposure to the elements. Larger flags are more susceptible to wind damage than smaller flags.
Wind rating
Flag systems should not be used in winds stronger than a fresh breeze or 5 on the Beaufort scale below.
Doing so may cause poles to break and premature wearing of the flag.
Replacement poles can be purchased separately on our website.
Poles are not warranted for breakages where winds have exceeded 6 on the Beaufort scale or a strong breeze.
